"So it is too early to adopt IPv6." This argument is correct as far as translation is concerned. However, translation is not the only transition technology available, and translation will probably only be necessary when your IPv4 addresses actually have run out. So translation technology is not needed yet, and this is not a valid argument for not moving towards IPv6. However, if standardization of translation technology does not move on quickly, it may become a bottleneck for IPv6 transition in one or two years. |
