| 06. "IPv6 is not the ultimate solution for the Internet of the future" |
|
"So I will hold out with my current IPv4 with NAT until a better solution is available." This bottleneck is based on the belief that IPv6 is not the right solution. This is not a common opinion but the opinion of some corner-visionaries. IPv6 is not always seen as the “ultimate solution”, but is seen as one of the steps that will happen or is needed. It should be pointed out that society will be running out of IPv4 addresses in a few years already, and a new solution other than IPv6 cannot be designed, built and deployed in such a short time frame. |
